Donutes Coffee & Bakery (多那之咖啡), Kota Damansara

Last Tuesday night, Guan Ren & I went to The Strand, Kota Damansara for Nuffnang Premier Screening of How to Train Your Dragon II! :) Thank you Nuffnang for the movie!

Guan Ren & I wanted to have supper after the movie, but The Strand seems pretty day past 11 so we drove over to Giza area to Donutes, a Taiwan franchise bakery cum cafe that operates 365 days a year, 24 hours a day.

Established in Gao Xiung, Taiwan, Donutes has been growing and expanding rapidly and reached the shores of Malaysia when it's first outlet opened in Bandar Puteri Puchong. The branch in Kota Damansara opened its door to the public in mid March this year.

Contrary to its name, Donutes offers more than...doughnuts lol. We were quite taken aback by the massive array of breads & pastries available even though it was almost 12am midnight!
Impressive, right? Price wise was pretty affordable too.
Various cakes with cute & creative designs! Mr Poo Poo is my favourite design among all! :) (notice the cake on the far right corner!)
Pre-packaged cakes/sandwiches/breads are available too for those on-the-go!

Their beverages seems to be the hit among the crowd- almost everyone has at least one drink on their table.

Now Donutes seems like an impressive place to hang out, no? But unfortunately for us, the place was FULL HOUSE , on a Tuesday night. We forgotten to check whether there's any seat...and Even all outdoor seats were occupied, and no one seems like they would be leaving soon :(

So we took our breads and pastries into the car and ate there. No pictures as it was super dark. Personally felt that the breads weren't really up to our liking.

Our first impression towards Donutes wasn't a pleasant one :( Maybe a next proper visit will do justice, perhaps?
