Tous Les Jours, Wolo Bukit Bintang

Guan Ren and I went around mall hopping after stuffing our stomach with some good breakky at Lucy in the Sky Cafe & also good desserts & coffee at Coffee Amo. We hopped from Berjaya Time Square....all the way to Bukit Bintang area. So how many malls we visited on that day? You do the maths.

Naturally, we felt really tired and our feet was aching. I was thirsty because we ran out of mineral water (even though we bought 6 bottles of mineral water...) So we decided to have a tea break, at this really grand bakery that has everyone insta-ing about it, Tous Les Jours.

I've blogged about Tous Les Jours first branch @ Bangsar some time ago last year. You can read about my visit to Tous Les Jours, Bangsar HERE!
The facade of Tous Les Jours, looking all grand & fancy. Doesn't it look like a castle in the UK, with a protective layer of glass?
The grand entrance- somehow really captivating & attractive. Compared to the branch in Bangsar, this one is absolutely stunning!
Their signature green bike, parked at the side of the cafes along with the beautiful little potted plants & sacks of flours.
Walking in, we were greeted by a whiff of aromatic bread smell, fresh out of the oven. Oh, how I love the smell of freshly baked bread! Do you know that the smell of freshly baked bread is the best smell to lift up one's mood? My mood was instantly lifted up (although I was already very happy on that day) as my five senses were greeted by the breads.

Homemade jams & marmalade, packaged into petite-size bottles with really cute labels!
Cakes, Cakes, & more Cakes! Citibank users get to enjoy a complementary slice of cake if you charge the bill (RM60>) to your card.
The food menu. The price was relatively affordable! Eggs Benedict for only RM9.90?! I asked the waiter excitedly whether they are still serving breakfast or not and she said yes! I immediately placed an order for the Eggs benedicts, even though I wasn't that hungry. #lifeasafatglutton

Unlike the small little Bangsar Branch, Tous Les Jours @ Wolo has two stories! You can choose to either dine at the comfy sofa, or the bar area facing the road, or even the normal tables & chairs area.
View from the second floor. I can't keep my eyes off the pastry display, somehow.
The second floor was much crowded compared to the first floor. There's also a counter at the second floor and the food is actually prepared here too!
Right: Chicken Curry Croquette RM3.90 ; Left: Cheese Focaccia RM5.50
We sat at the bar facing the street of KL. Luckily the sun wasn't blistering hot or we'd have gotten sunburn/cataract.
The cashier was really kind and she helped us to warm up the cheese foccacia because she said it taste better when consumed warm. It was! Soft & fluffy on the inside, crisps and savoury on the outside. We devoured the focaccia
The Chicken Curry Croquette has a layer of crispy skin with generous amount of curry inside the soft & fluffy bun. Yums! Would've been better if we were to consume this warm.
Wolo Egg Benedict RM9.90
Poached eggs & turkey ham served on muffin with Hollandaise Sauce, with a side of beef bacon, roasted potatoes, grilled tomatoes & salad with vinaigrette dressing.
I'd say for RM9.90, the portion is pretty big!
The eggs were poached nicely- not overcooked nor undercooked. However, it tasted a little too sourish, as if they used too much vinegar while poaching the eggs. The others were fine. The Eggs Benedict was okay, not to say amazing, but not exactly bad either. But for the price tag, I'd say it's pretty worth it :)
Grab a seat by the window! Because 1. You get to enjoy a view of KL Street and 2. It's really good for photography :p
A last shot of the breads before we leave.
