Cafe Studio, The Strand Kota Damansara

I gotta admit it, I have been cafe hopping excessively during my sem break and now I have so many cafes that I would like to share in this blog. So here's an overdue blogpost that I had been putting off till now because I had too many photos for this place.

I actually visited this place two weeks ago, after having a nice cuppa at Coffee Famille. We were hungry as we skipped lunch for coffee and we drove to Photocrafts the Cafe in hope of trying out their signature burger which an Instagrammer had recommended it to me but unfortunately, Photocrafts was closed due to the water rationing exercise :(

So we decided to check out this place located @ The Strand, Kota Damansara! I've seen many pretty photos of Cafe Studio on Instagram so I was pretty eager to check it out.

Located on the second floor of the corner shop lot, the cafe was not really prominent as the sign was really small. Cafe Studio is at the same row as Dreamz Bakery, behind Wood & Steel Gallery.

We pressed the door bell, and were greeted enthusiastically by a young man who then give a light smack to this red statue, asking him to greet us (XD).

"Say hi to the customer! Aiyo, so rude leh this guy!"

We immediately felt at home & welcomed into this humble cafe.
We walked further into the cafe and I was totally mesmerized by the interior. Like, really mesmerized.
A picture speaks a thousand words.

Like its name suggest, Cafe Studio is really like a studio- the interior was really pretty. I've seen photos on blogs & Instagram but being in that cafe brings the prettiness to a whole new level.

Glass tables with a potted plant below it.
We were starving so we made our orders as soon as we sat down at one of the seat next to the glass window- yay for good lighting. Our food took a while to be served, or maybe we were too hungry so the food was seemingly served slow
Triplets RM8.90
A combination of three different sandwiches (Egg Mayo, Ham & Tuna Mayo)
The bread was crusty on the outside, warm & fluffy on the inside, with simple homemade fillings. It was a simple dish, but it was really a satisfying one.
Grilled Fish Fillet Sandwich RM14.90
Grilled Fish Fillet served in a croissant, served with a side salad & fries
The fries were overcooked so it wasn't really palatable, but we finished it anyways as we were famished.
The fish was grilled perfectly and marinated with tumeric powder. I find the pairing of a tumeric-marinated fish and croissant a little odd.

The food at Cafe Studio was pretty average, not outstanding but not bad either, but it was the lovely & relaxing environment as well as the warm hospitality at Cafe Studio that made us enjoy our stay there. I would definitely love to return one day to enjoy the relaxing ambiance there.
