Obanhmi, Damansara Uptown (Second Visit)

After my pleasant first visit to Obanhmi, Obanhmi has become one of my dad's & I favourite lunch & coffee spot! My family & I were @ Section 17 running some errands and we had a sudden craving for some lovely Vietnamese Coffee so here we are again!
Read about my first visit HERE
Obanhmi was pretty crowded when we arrived, and the three of us had to cramp in a small tall table. Nevertheless, the sandwiches were delivered to us promptly despite the crowd :)
Coffee (Add-On Price RM3)
Like the previous visit, the coffee had a nutty & chocolate-y body, which spoilt my taste buds with its aromatic taste. Mum, dad & I each ordered a cup ended up ordering one extra cup of coffee as we couldn't get enough of it. Dad jokingly told the boss that she needs to get a bigger cup to serve their coffee =p
O BBQ RM8.20
Dad was feeling ravenous so he took a big chomp off the sandwich before I could even take a photograph of it ._. LOL. Succulent & well marinated BBQ pork, paired up with the creamy egg & tangy mayo sauce with a hint of spiciness from the chilli sauce, and the crunchiness of the preserved veggie came together so perfectly. The baguette, which is the most essential component of a sandwich was a total win. Crisp on the outside, fluffy & airy on the inside.
O School RM8.20
Ham, Pate, Preserved Shredded Daikon & Carrots , Coriander, all stuffed into a freshly baked baguette slathered with homemade mayo & chili sauce.
Simple yet satisfying. I love how the ingredients complements each other so perfectly :)
 O Ga RM 10 (Add on Coffee & Spring Roll + RM5)
Teriyaki Chicken, Fried Egg, Preserved Shredded Daikon & Carrots & Corriander
As usual, I removed the coriander after snapping the photos.
The verdict: THE BOMB! The teriyaki chicken was so tender & succulent, and it packs a aromatic BBQ taste which literally burst in my mouth! I'd prefer this over the other Banh Mi due to the extra tenderness texture of the chicken meat.
The spring roll- thin popiah skin stuffed with shredded carrots, daikon & glass noodle, deep fried into perfection. The skin was nice & crispy, but the moisture & flavours of the fillings of the spring roll was preserved. Dip it in their homemade chili sauce and volia! A perfect side dish :)

Overall Rating: 9/10
They said that the second visit will not be as good as the first visit, but I beg to differ for Obanhmi :) I love this place!
