Mr & Ms, Oasis Square (Second Visit)

Ever since mum found out aboutt the existence of Oasis Square, she has been bugging dad to bring us there. He did, and she has develop a liking towards that place. She did some research on her own on places to eat there and this particular cafe has caught her attention- Mr & Ms.
So last Sunday morning, dad wasn't around so I offered to drive mum there for a mother-daughter breakfast date! This is my second visit here, first time being somewhere in December last year and I was quite impressed with the food there at then. You can read about it here.

We reached Mr & Ms at 10.30am, which is the busiest hour for brunch restaurants. The crowd was overwhelming! We had to wait outside for about 20 minutes for a seat. Mum didn't want to wait any longer so she decided to grab the outdoor seat. I didn't mind sitting outside as the weather was okay and I could get more natural lighting for my photos. However, we had a very hard time getting the attention of the waiters :/

After desperately trying to get the waiter's attention, we finally made our order! *phew*
The crowd was a little too overwhelming for the servers to attend to everyone and they even forgotten about serving us the drinking water :/ But it was fine as the waiter was polite & apologetic when we pointed it out :)
Flat White RM8
Mum's order. Didn't try it out because she added sugar into it which is one of my biggest pet peeves, unless its a Mocha drink (Contradicting, I know.)
Mocha RM9
I loved it. The Mocha has the right balance of sweetness which did not drown the lovely aroma of the coffee, and it comes with a smooth and velvety body. Thumbs up!
Salmon Scrambled Egg RM15.90
Scrambled Eggs with Smoked Salmon & Feta, served on a Toasted Wholemeal Bread
Thought that the scrambled eggs were a little bit too salty :/ During my previous visit I thought that this dish was really great so I was a little disappointed.
The 'Vegan' Brekky RM18.90
Two eggs done by your desired choice (Scrambled, Poached or Sunny-Side Up) served on Toasted Wholemeal Bread, Sauteed Button Mushroom, Roasted Cherry Tomatoes, Avocado Mashed and Hash Brown
The sauteed mushroom was nice & juicy, same goes with the roasted cherry tomatoes- flavours come bursting out as I took a bite of it. I really liked the avocado mashed which seems to complement the bread so perfectly.
The hash brown, however, was too oily to my liking. I couldn't finish it as the greasiness was a little too overwhelming.
I have to applaud them for this beautifully poached eggs though. Mr & Ms serves the best poached eggs ! (compared to all the cafes I have visited before). The poached eggs were simply perfect- the texture and degree of runny-ness (if there is such a word) was just perfect.

Overall, my dining experience here was a mixed reaction. Mum didn't really enjoyed it and I'm somewhere on the mid-line. Felt that the food fared better on a weekday when the place wasn't too crowded. Despite that, the service was really pleasant and welcoming :)
