Burgertory, SS15 (Second Visit)

*NON HALAL*

CNY night. After a series of house hopping, gambling session & ang pau collecting session at our friends houses, Guan Ren and I decided to have dinner together! Time flies when you're having fun eh? We didn't realize it was way past our our usual dinner time.

Guan Ren and I were in a mood for some unhealthy, Not-Chinese-Food after days of lou sang and tradition CNY food. So we decided to head to Burgertory since we have not visited that place for centuries!

You can read about my first visit to Burgertory HERE.
Located on the first floor above Guardian (Same row as MCD , Maybank & the other banks) in SS15, Burgertory is easy to spot with its eye-catching "B" signage.
The interior of Burgertory was almost the same as it was last time I visited this place. The place was designated & DIY-ed by their own staffs! I really liked the concept and design of the place. Long wooden communal table, grey cemented walls, with various hipster posters hanging around, and metal pipes crossing over the ceiling, a unique yet sleek design.
The menu! Burgertory constantly comes out with new burgers to please their fans and also stir up a sense of adventurous for their patrons!
Patrons get to choose from Pork, Beef & even Vegan patties!
You can opt to make your burger a set by topping up RM5 to get a free flow of soft drink with a side of Apple Salad/Fries or RM6 to get a free flow of soft drinks & Bacon Mashed Potatoes. Was really impressed on the range of drinks available! There's even a Nescafe coffee machine there! Since Guan Ren and I had too much sweet drinks earlier we decided to skip it #diabetisalert

 Mozzarella Sticks RM10 (5pcs)
Deep fried Mozzarella Cheese, coated in a crunchy layer of bread crumbs.
Below the golden brown crust, reveals a rich, creamy cheese filling.
Fabulous. It was fabulous. Crunchy, golden brown skin, with a chewy, rich, cheesy interior. I couldn't get enough of this little sinful treat. Rich & creamy on the inside, nice and crunchy on the outside, my taste buds was screaming for more as I had my first bite. Definitely recommended!
Bacon Paradise RM19
Pork Patty served with Mild Cheddar, Homemade Candied Bacon Bits, Homemade Candied Bacon Strips.
A true bacon paradise, with the amount of lard they inserted into the burger. The candied bacon gives the burger a subtle sweet taste which goes well with the juicy pork patty topped with a slice of rich, creamy cheddar. The pork patty was tender and juicy, yet firm enough to keep it as a piece.
However, I find the burger bun pretty dull & boring. It wasn't toasted, so it tasted really dry & coarse.  :S
Porky Nest RM15
Pork Patty served with Homemade Fried Wire Potatoes ,Grill Italian Zucchini and Homemade Herbed Cream Cheese
Impressive- presentation and taste wise ;) The fried wire potatoes was really crunchy and addictive. It goes so well with the creamy cream cheese & mashed zucchini and juicy pork patty.
The combination of the cream cheese & zucchini was really a genius combination- the zucchini mellows the rich taste of the cream cheese, thus it didn't feel cloying at all.
However, like the Bacon Paradise, the burger bun was too dry to my liking. I removed the top bun and even set half of the bottom bun aside as it really tasted dull and mediocre.

Overall Rating : 7.0/10
If it weren't for the dry bread, I'd have given Burgertory a higher rating. I really enjoyed the juicy pork patties & innovative sides & condiments :)
