Dip n Dip, Bangsar (Second Visit)

HELLOOOOO!

SO I AM ON A TWO WEEKS BREAK FROM MY AS EXAMINATION.

(yes, I have to use CAPS as it is something worth exclaiming)

So, my college mates and I decided to go on a Food Adventure to BANGSAR!
We had a total of FIVE (5) makan places in our agenda, and dip n dip happens to be the last. After all, sweet endings ;)

I believe this place needs no further introduction. Dessert Shop. Chocolate. Sweet. Famous. Middle Eastern. If not, read more about dip n dip here during my first visit!
Dip Sticks Platter RM58
A platter filled with 4 pieces of the following items(Pick 7 only):
berry, banana, kiwi, pineapples, strawberry, chocolate eclair, marshmallow, chocolate brownies and rice kripies. with chocolate fondue.
Berry and rice krispies were out of stock so we were literally not given a chance to choose.
When our order arrived,
We were taken aback by the portion.
It was really small. Scarcity. Scanty.
The amount of chocolate given is not even proportional to the sides given.
No.
This is definitely not worth the RM58 paid.
There were eight of us so we decided to slice each sides into 8 pieces so that everyone of us can get to try out every food.
So how did it fare?
Perhaps we just had outstanding dessert at NOSH (next blog post I promise!) which is located next door, because the chocolate doesn't taste as good or heavenly as expected. I felt that the chocolate was way too sweet. The chocolate wasn't really aromatic enough, as it tasted more like sugar and milk. The chocolate brownie was terrible btw. It doesn't feel like a brownie at all.
Overall Rating: 4.5/10

Dip n Dip you did not make me smile this time :(
The service was quite horrible too on that day. The waiters pretended not to see us when I raised my hand to request for cultries.
But my friends certainly made me smile on that day :) Met Ashwin, our dear friend who left us to further his studies at Kolej Matrikulasi Melaka there! :D
