Ikea Restaurant, IKEA (Second Visit)

My last visit post here
My mum was on leave on Monday, and she decided to relive our childhood moment by bringing my brother and I to IKEA :d
I guess this place doesn't need any more introduction. =D Let's move on to the food, shall we?
Since it was a Monday morning, the line were short so we got our food and snapped a seat swiftly
Mushroom Soup RM3
It was still diluted, but nevertheless flavourful. Wouldn't complain much with the price we paid.
Poached Salmon with Chives Sauce RM12.90
Poached salmon in a sourish chives sauce, served with a side of potato rosti(pancake in Sweeden) and frozen vegetables.
First off, I was quite disappointed as they substituted the broccoli with frozen vegetables =/ I guess they did it to cut cost, due to the price hike in vegetables.
The poached salmon was quite tender, but my mum complained that the salmon wasn't fresh, as it had a pungent fish-y taste. The chives sauce was really bland and diluted.
The potato rosti, on the other hand, was quite decent. It was packed with chunks of potatoes, carrots and sweet corn. It was slightly charred on the outside to give it a crisp, and soft and tender in the inside, packed full with flavour. I enjoyed the potato rosti the most.
15 pieces Meatball RM14
15 pieces of beef meatball drenched in gravy, served with a side of mashed potatoes and Lingoberry sauce
IKEA substituted their french fries with mashed potatoes. To be honest, I wasn't really fond of their mashed potatoes. Tasted a little bland. And it felt too starchy, as if they added too much corn flour in it =S The meatball was OK, but both my brother and mum complained that it tasted terrible =S

Overall, was really disappointed of the food. Hope they could improve soon =(

ON ANOTHER NOTE, did my photography skill improved compared to the previous post?
